Slit Hem Plissé Ankle Pants

I’m a big Eileen Fisher wearer, and I used to be a big Nordstrom shopper. However, once again Nordstrom has left petites out in the cold. At one point I thought they got it. They used to actually have a Petites department. Petites are not a size but a proportion! These pants are a nice material in a lovely color (Blue Spruce), but even billed as ankle pants, they’re way too long. Because of the deep slits shortening them would be out of proportion. I’m usually a PL in pants, and the M fit comparably except for the length. Eileen Fisher does a lot of petites so this should have been a no-brainer to offer them in petites as well. Unless Nordstrom brings back more petites I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

I bought this pant for spring to summer travel after trying many others. This is a keeper! It’s a lovely lightweight fabric with enough body to cover any bumps down my backside. (TMI, I know!). Also, the fit is relaxed without being sloppy or baggy looking. The cute split-hem gives a more youthful vibe.

I suffer when it's hot, so I'm always looking for the lightest, most comfortable clothing that still looks good and can work in various situations. These are perfect. They're lightweight and don't wrinkle, so they are a plus for traveling. My only criticism is that they're not available in black, which would have been my first choice.
