Broken clasp

I bought this to wear to a wedding and it had a tag over the clasp. The day of the wedding I removed the tag and noticed that it was broken and there was no ring to connect the two ends. They say they won’t take it back because I’m outside the time period. Upsetting because this was not cheap and it was not made well.
