Diamond Hoop Earrings - 0.29ct.

These earrings are very pretty with nice sparkle, but are not solid sterling silver. Since there is no photo of the back of the earrings, I was surprised to discover that the backs are actually cut out in a loose filigree pattern. And while you don't necessarily want an earring to be heavy, you don't also expect to spend $500 (plus tax) (or "$1,440") for a flimsy bit of silver either. I chose these as a birthday present for myself since they're not the average diamond huggie and I still love the style, but I'm not sold on the value at all. Also, there was absolutely no documentation in the box as to the material, diamond quality, carat weight, etc. The only tag included with these says "SIL DIA EARRINGS". I purchased an EFFY ring in the past that at least had a tag attached with that info. Nordstrom Rack: Please use better photos, thanks!
