Runs small at waist/bust
French Connection sizes are a little iffy in any non stretch material. This is a classic, beautiful dress that can be dressed up for work or play, but definitely runs smaller in the chest/waist area so suggest sizing up.

Runs small. I ordered a size up and it was very tight in the chest. The dress is extremely short. Barely covered my back side. If it was longer and fit my chest better it would have been cute.

True to size
Based on the reviews, I sized up to a 2 but it ended up being too large in the hip and too long in the torso. The waist is definitely much smaller than the hip. For reference, I typically buy a 00 from Theory (dresses). I will return and try to get a 0 if there are any left. I like that the dress was lined and the fabric had a tiny bit of stretch to it.

Should have bought my regular size
I listened to all the reviews about sizing up and it was a bit big. If you wear french connection a lot and know your size just buy your normal size.

Almost the perfect LBD, but the fabric ruins it
I was hoping this would be my go-to LBD. I love a good mock neck, and the length and silhouette were all perfect. But the fabric is stiff, unbreathable, and has zero stretch, making it very unforgiving. I have a slim, athletic build and even without a bra, it felt uncomfortably tight across the chest. If you have a fuller bust or hips, I imagine it would be even more restrictive. Disappointing for such a flattering design.
