Great shoes!

I just received these loafers, so I haven't had a chance to wear them yet but they're a beautiful shoe and great color. I bought them in Pewter, which is a rich brown/charcoal that will be quite versatile. They are one of the only shoes I've ever purchased that felt "right" as soon as I put them on. Just the right size, width, sole and heel height, plus they look great on my feet. They will look perfect with jeans or tailored trousers. I plan to purchase another pair in navy blue.

If you’re a small size forget it!

As usual with shoe manufacturers, this shoe is not true to size. What is going on? I have been a size 5 for 55 years. Now all of a sudden a 5 is really a size 6, and guess what?? No one makes these shoes in a size 4. I’m SOL, so they went back. Very disappointed!

Great shoes!

Blisters waiting to happen

These are very attractive… BUT the fit is very weird. Super tight up top - like a size too small or something. But a bigger size would make it slip off the heel even more… as it is, it’s rubbing against/chafing parts of my heel. Added weirdness - the right one is even worse than the left. That’s never happened before… And finally, in terms of the color, the green is just a LITTLE too subtle - very muddy so that it is borderline brown or dark gray - a bit non-distinct. Sending back.

These Take me Back to the Sixties

The sizing is interesting considering my experience and many other reviews. I wear an eight in all shoes and have for 50 years, however, these are a tad for short and a tad narrow. Because I love the looks of this penny loafer and am amazed at the craftsmanship, I’m re-ordering a 8 1/2. The price is great especially for such a well made shoe.

takes some wearing in

I like the look, they seem to be good quality, but I have terrible blisters in multiple places. I guess they will need to be worn in for several days, hopefully they get comfortable at some point.
