Comfortable, looser on smaller ankles, runs big

They are super comfortable and I've walked over 2 miles in them already. They do fit looser around my ankles than expected, but I have tiny ankles and the fit is not uncomfortable. I usually wear a 9 - 9 1/2 shoe size but I've bought this brand before and I fit in a 8 1/2.
