Leona Combat Boot (Women)

If you wear a half size and struggle with unisex sized Docs being either too short in the smaller size or too sloppy wide in the larger size, try the Leonas. Out of the 5 pairs of Docs I own, these fit narrower like my Frye Veronicas (size 8-1/2) than a traditional wide unisex Docs on my thin, low volume, size 8-1/2 foot. I purchased a Leona size 8. Compared to the unisex sized 1460 Pascals which are too short in a size 7, and too sloppy in a size 8, and the 1914 Virginias, size 7, a hair to short but wearable, and my bulky, stiff Averils, size 8, these are the best fitting, most comfortable Docs I have found so far.

Item was NOT CLEARLY DESCRIBED!! I've worn Dr. Martens for years and NEVER have I ran across this NARROW type of shoe. I've always had to size down a size in Doc Martens, due to the wideness and extra toe space. This pair was so narrow in the toes. I wish I ordered the 9 instead of the 8 that I normally wear. Now.I have a wonderful pair of shoes that's useless. Thanks for nothing Nordstrom, you REALLY LET ME DOWN!!
