Fragrance story: Orchid & Sandalwood at Dusk enraptures the steamy sweetness of orchid with the rich woodiness of sandalwood notes, coated in hazy amber to unwind your mind and tantalize the senses for an elegant scent that lingers on the skin.

Witchy

Between the name and the scent, this is very witchy. It's light, a bit earthy, a bit sweet. I recently ordered the Originals sampler pack, and despite having already smelled a few in that pack, I was most excited to smell this one because the name is so cool. Initially I wasn't sure, but scents to me like are like songs and relationships, they need to grow on me a little over time. The "easy" scents are the universal crowd pleasers, but this is a unique scent. Modern, definitely not perfumey, fairly light. I will be wearing it to go see Practical Magic 2. Reminds me of a witchy apothecary.

Not for me

This scent was not for me. I have over 30 dossier perfumes and I love them all. This one is a hard no. It smells like bug spray or raid to me. I had to return it unfortunately

A favorite.

This is my second bottle but I’m not even halfway through with my first. Terrified of running empty. There’s something addictive about this one.

Great at first...

This smelled really great at first--I thought it was a definite keeper. A good balance of floral, spice, and sandalwood/incense notes. Very ****, sultry, a bit mysterious. Then after an hour or two, the floral and sandalwood fade and leave you with a spicy patchouli. Like sniffing a jar of black pepper. Which, if that's your vibe, cool. Personally I just found it irritating. If the sandalwood or another sweeter base note lasted to balance out the patchouli note, it would be great. But alas, this one will be going back.

Love it!!

I got this scent as a sample in a previous order and immediately ordered a full bottle after one wear. The scent is gorgeous at every point of the day, and that sandalwood base stays so warm and pleasant. One of my favorite fragrances from Dossier.

My new obsession/signature scent

I cannot get enough of this scent!It’s so sultry, mysterious, ******.And it lasts my entire 12hr shift. I can even get whiffs of it as I’m falling asleep. I don't want to ever be without, so I just stocked up.

My favorite of all time!!

It stayed on all day, even when I sprayed other perfumes on top, the other ones disappeared but this one stayed... It smells incredible... It's hard to describe... Smells like an expensive, elegant furniture store... If you smell the old Yankee candle called fresh bamboo, that's what the lingering smell is like... It's just incredible!!!
