Wonderful Microwave Popcorn Popper
I received this DASH microwave popcorn popper as a gift. Initially, I thought it was kind of cute but left it in the box on the shelf. Then one night recently we had a hankering for popcorn and used it for the first time. I still think it's cute, but was most impressed at how well it popped popcorn. The popcorn is fully popped, just right - not burnt, with very few unpopped kernels. It was great to have healthy oil-free popcorn and so delicious.Another plus is that the popcorn popper was so easy to clean afterwards. I let it sit for a few minutes to cool down, filled it with sudsy water sponge it out, and was perfectly "brand new" clean.Will be enjoying this popcorn popper frequently - highly recommend!

Broke after first use.
After first and only use, I let the container cool down completely before washing. After washing I was holding it by the handle and it just cracked where the handle meets the pitcher. It it no longer useful. I do not recommend this popcorn popper.

Not on the Product
As my headline states, this is not a review of the product. I was considering it, then I came across my MAJOR pet peeve. It's kernel, not kernal. Makes no difference to me if it was a typo or if someone can't spell. it should never have made it to the screen. Two people at least should have caught that, the writer, who should be proofreading before submitting, and the editor.

Works fairly well
The glass is very thin and makes me nervous just handling it. I thought it would feel more sturdy. It says it can go in the dishwasher, but I have not tried this yet because I'm worried about the glass. As far as popping, it does fairly well....does leave about 20-30 kernels and that is with almost burning the popcorn. But, we do get a good amount that pop. We have tried putting the butter in the top and I feel like this does well, my husband can't really taste it and I wonder if having the butter all melted in the bottom decreases the popping efficiency? I have not tried without butter yet. Overall, I am satisfied and can deal with the little things. I do wish the glass would be better durability.
