While the boot is a great fit and looks fabulous, the top edge where one puts the foot into the boot is very rough and chaffs the shin during wearing. This requires a thick sock to wear to cover the leg from the entire opening. That makes it a boot one can wear only if one wants the sock to show. Otherwise it is very painful and leaves leg marks from the rub that lasts for a week and is painful. Better design could have avoided this, however, I've seen it on some other makers as well. Outside of that negative, I found the boot runs slightly narrow by just a bit. good length in the toe and wide toe bed is nice, and not too heavy for a "heavy style lug" boot. good value outside of the style sock issue which may not be an issue if known by purchaser making wear decisions.
