Capa Hybrid Water-Repellent Hooded Packable Puffer Jacket

Great looking light jacket with a bonus of a hood. It’s good for 50+F weather, i wouldn’t go lower. Definitely not wind proof. Paired with a light shell this would excellent as a insulating layer. Size is for the most part true. I’m a muscular guy and typically wear large. The jacket has definitely a more athletic fit shoulders and arm (a plus for me), wish it followed through for the torso like a slim/athletic fit. There’s definitely room in the midsection but not egregious amount of room.

Looks great, fits great, I really like it, hence the 4 stars. As mentioned though, there are a couple things I found a bit annoying that maybe could have been solved with a name change? First, the sleeves don't pull over another sleeve unless it is a slippery fabric. As a jacket this is kind of annoying, but I understand what they were going for here with the breathable material on the sleeves. Second the insulation weight is half of a normal Capa jacket (40g vs 80g) so it's not like wearing a Capa vest over a fleece. This is a big difference considering it is supposed to be the same line of clothing. Had they called it an Otero hybrid then the implication is that you wear it more like you would the Otero, a light spring or fall layer, than the Capa, an every day winter jacket. Yes this is all in the description and yes I still bought it anyways.
