weird shape
Shoe fits fine from the front but towards the back it has extra cushion on the side so it looks like you have swollen ankles. Not my style.

not flattering
Someone else cautioned in their review about these shoes making their ankles look swollen and I experienced the same issue. The extra padding or cushion around the ankle causes the sides of the shoe to puff out or bow out, so it just looks like you’re wearing shoes that are too tight and your feet are busing out of them. It was an odd look, and not flattering on me!

Sizing conversion is in-correct
Sizing conversion is not accurate. I wear sz 9 1/2 in women’s so I ordered unisex sz 8 and they were way too small. My regular women’s size would have fit perfect. Now they are out of stock on my actual size, so disappointed. I have been looking for all white converse with black trim instead of the red and blue for so long and now I am back to the drawing board.
