Chuck Taylor All Stair Dainty Suede Sneaker (Women)

I typically size down a 1/2 size in Converse, but these feel smaller than a typical shoe. I’m generally a true 6, so I ordered a 6 in these to be a bit roomy and it’s uncomfortably tight all around. I think I’d need to try a 7, which I never wear, but they are sold out of that size. I’m so disappointed because the shoe is a fabulous color and texture—really wish the sizing was consistent! Sad to return.

Unlike your classic canvas, these do NOT run big. I’m typically Sz 7 in canvas Chuck Taylors in low tops and high tops since they tend to run big due to unisex sizing, but not these. Ordered my usual size and they felt tight and narrower. Not your typical canvas sizing. Ordering half size up to see if they fit better. Papyrus/egret is beautiful neutral shade.
