Chiffon Long Sleeve Jumpsuit

I purchased this jumpsuit to wear to my friend’s 65th birthday party in January. Her colors are purple and rose gold. This jumpsuit is a beautiful deep purple,. The style is complimentary on my body. I like the wide legs. The wide collar and sheer long sleeves are beautiful. Please notice the back of the collar… so elegant. I am 5’7” and weigh 183 lbs. I ordered size 10 and size 12. First, I tried on the size 12 item. It looks elegant. However, it has flaws. The material is thin. It it approximately 2.5” too long, while being barefoot. I plan to wear flat shoes and will need to get the jumpsuit hemmed. It has folds on each side near my waistline but slightly to the rear. Please look at the display model and you will see similar folds/pleats. I thought they were on the model because she was leaning to one side. Well, the folds/pleats/gathers are visible when I tried on my jumpsuit. They are lower on my body than displayed on the model. They are not sewn folds/pleats/gathers. They are there because the material does not lay flat. I believe it is sewing defect. I paid $39.97. For that price and with the folds/pleats/gathers, I plan to keep it, wear it and look fabulous during the birthday party in Texas. I did not open the size 10 jumpsuit. I will return it.
