Bedford Cap Toe Derby (Men)

These shoes have a great price and fit nice. I spent an hour at going through all the shoes and picked this one. Then, when I went to buy them, the worker had trouble getting the anti-stealing device out of the shoe and scratched it up on one side with their long finger nails. I then offered to get it out after realizing that they were damaging the shoe, both with their nails and buy pulling and bending the shoe so much. I gently wiggled and removed the device. I checked online at other retailers and the cheapest was $120, and I bought these for $100. Since the scratches were on the inner side, it wasn't a $20 scratch, but still very upsetting that the worker had no common sense. When I showed the scratches to her and asked for a discount she said no discounts are allowed. I was very polite but the worker was very rude. Overall still a great pair of shoes but I will be avoiding that worker if she is ever there when I go back.
