Experience the precision and versatility of this all-purpose chef's knife perfect for cutting everything from fruits and vegetables to proteins.

How it's made: 69 layers of stainless Damascus cladding support the knife's core while providing stain resistance and making it easier for stuck-on food to release from the blade. The D-shaped wood handle is comfortable for both right- and left-handed users, while full-composite tang provides ideal balance and heft.

Additional features: The knife's ultrawide blade prevents knuckles from hitting the cutting board. The curved belly enables you to softly rock though fresh spices or herbs to produce the finest of minces.

Absolute MUST HAVE blade

Great for professional use in kitchens, MUST BE RESPECTED. Folded Japanese steel is light and RAZOR sharp. (Think 8in Samurai Sword) but not indestructible. Use on a bamboo cutting board. Hand wash and store with care. Will cut unlike any blade you e ever used and will last decades. But will chip on stone and counter top, the tip can be broken off (buddy tried to open a soda with one) basically to be used on fruit and vegetables only. But in the kitchen it's ESSENTIAL

Blade chipped

Received this knife as a gift. First time using it, slicing a raw steak, the blade chipped off a half a dime size. Could never use it because the chip threaded everything. I do wanted to love it.

Greatest knife I've ever used.

Greatest knife I've ever used. Use it fir cutting meat, vegetables, dicing etc. Probably need to send it in first sharpening as I've used everyday since recieving it a year ago. Love the handle also.
