Ebba Garden Toile Stretch Cotton Dress

Beautiful but too heavy. The design of the dress is gorgeous with a wonderful print. The fabric weighs over 2 pounds. I tried standing on the scale with and without the dress, and it was a world of difference without the dress on. Sooooo heavy and tight- even at a size 12, I struggled to zip up the back of the dress. Way way too cumbersome.

I saw this dress in store and had to try it on. Fortunately, the last one in store was my size. I had the same problem as the other reviewers with the zipper, but I managed to get it up. I turned the dress to the front, zipped it halfway, turned it back, and then zipped it all the way up like the other reviewer. Decided to think about it and then the dress went on sale. I purchased it right away in two sizes. Yes, the dress is heavy (feels like denim), but it falls really nice on me. I think it is true to size. For my large chested sisters, the top is a little tight, but going a size up everywhere else was too loose. Overall, a lovely dress that would be perfect for a summer wedding or garden party (as long as it isn’t 100 degrees F outside). Excellent quality and after trying the two sizes, the zipper did get a little better.

I had been eyeing this gorgeous dress and finally broke down and bought it when it went on sale. The reviews are correct about the zipper being difficult at the waist—I have to turn it to the front to zip that portion and turn it back to zip the rest of the way up. It us made with a lovely and luxurious weighted fabric. Can’t wait to wear it out!
