Beautiful
The Best Flat Iron I Ever Owned. Here is the kicker.
The plates are LAVA rocks.
There is no temp setting because it gets HOT but bcz of the plates, it naturally straightens and does not burn hair... ( I’ve been there ).
One pass it cuts my straighten process in half so I can’t burn my hair with repeated passes. Yes, always use a heat protector but ladies it is worth the money. I initially paid 200 for mine and still do not regret my purchase. It is worth learning to love.

No temperature control
Just like all the other reviewers, I fell for this rip off Chi Lava. You can’t adjust the temperature at all. It is not like the one on Ulta’s website. Even the box was different and the plates aren’t the same size. If I had known the temperature couldn’t have been adjusted, I wouldn’t have purchased this.

No temperature control

The Temp is Misleading
There is no temperature setting, only an on/off switch. I did not realize this as the description is misleading.

Misleading
Same as the other review. Just got this in the mail and no temp control. The other lava straighters I looked at in the advertised ‘original’ price of this product had temp control. Very misleading description.

false advertisement
It does not shut off after 1 hour, it stays on all day if you do not un-plug. And there is no temp setting, so you have no clue as to what the temp actually is.

Not as advertised
I was expecting this flat iron to have automatic shut off and temperature changed as was in the description however it has neither of these things.
