stinks
I got a little sample tube of this cleanser from Chanel just last week, and tried it yesterday. Someone in these reviews said it smelled like perfume. It did not smell at all like perfume to me. It reeked of something terrible. Maybe the sample was old—I don’t know, but it was dreadful. As a cleanser it seemed average, at best. I tossed the remainder and would not recommend.

Spa Like Creamy Cleanser
I’ve used the La Mousse cleansing cream to foam wash for several years. I use it in the morning on dry skin. Just a small amount really lathers up and leaves my facial skin feeling very clean. I love the gentle scent too. The 5 ounce tube lasts a long time.

New formula, new scent.
I’ve used this original formula for years. When I went in store and smelled the tester on the counter I purchased this again, without hesitation. Once I got home and went to use it I realized it was not the same. It’s now a rich, heavy cream formula that doesn’t foam/lather as well and I really didn’t care for the smell. Tried to use it anyway because I don’t fear change but I started itching like crazy. Checking the new ingredients it now has blue algae, which I know I’m allergic to and would not have purchased had I known it wasn’t the same as the tester provided at counter. Sadly, it’s going to have be returned.
