This a dress that did the job in May for a graduation and again recently for a work event. Its casual-cute and conservative without being stuffy. Its a nice summer dress.

Very small top of dress
I ordered this in the blue and this brand usually runs large for me...I almost always wear a small or extra small in their dresses, but while the Small in this dress fit waist down, waist up I literally couldn't even get the buttons close to coming together. I would say it's like it's made for two different bodies. Maybe if you have a very skinny waist and flat chest...or try sizing up if you have a larger chest, but I think that will make the bottom too large. Huge miss.

pretty with design flaws
The cotton fabric of the dress and lining, and the eyelet work is wonderful. The green Celtic is an amazing color. But, as others have said, the waist runs small—which gives it an odd fit. The skirt part of the dress is a bit strange—nicely pleated in the front but mostly flat in the back. I felt like it was almost two different dresses. Had the back been different, I would have put up with the waist, but not both.
It is really a shame to have to return this lovely dress but I would be self-conscious wearing it.
