The shoe description says leather. It is faux leather.

These are nice looking light-weight sneakers. The only issue I have with them is that they are a bit rigid (like most leather sneakers I’ve tried of this type) and bulge at the top - especially, when even slightly bent as you are lifting your heel and stepping on your toes. I have found that the original “pretty” lacing style - when one half of the lace runs from hole to hole in parallel bars and the other half runs directly from the first/bottom row to the top under the “bars” - helps creating an unbalanced tug on the leather on both sides and produces an unsightly bulge on one side near the second row of lace. If yI use an alternative criss-cross lacing style (perhaps, less pretty, but I doubt anyone would ever pay attention to or care about how you lace your sneakers), the problem all but disappears. The shoes look nice but the descriptions from Nordstrom Rack about the shoes are not fully accurate. The descriptions state that the shoes are made of leather upper and leather lining, but from the sticker from manufacturer, the lining is faux leather (synthetic), not leather, and the upper are from recycled leather.

Buyer Beware: The product description clearly states that the shoes are manufactured in Italy. However, the pair I received was made in China and lacks the Bruno Magli logo on the tongue. The shoes do not carry the brand name anywhere except on the removable insoles. These appear to be inexpensive Chinese shoes with Bruno Magli insoles. This is either a case of extreme dishonesty or a lack of oversight in ensuring the authenticity of their merchandise. Either way, this will be my last purchase from Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack.

These shoes pitch like crazy and cannot be worn for more than a few minutes. For some reason the top of the toe box pinches inwards and is painful to wear. This is either due to poor materials or poor construction.

Bought these in 2 colors. Insole is really comfortable. Can’t believe these are only $100
