Built to ground every stride in lightweight cushioning, this waterproof running shoe sits on a grippy, segmented sole that moves easily from heel strikes to toe-offs.

Perfect for: Everyday runners and walkers looking for lightweight cushioning that moves comfortably with every stride or step.

Upper: Engineered mesh flexes comfortably with your foot. Airy knit provides breathability and ventilation. Recycled content keeps every step smart. GORE-TEX Invisible Fit is bonded directly to the upper for a light, flexible fit that provides breathable protection from the elements.

Midsole Drop: 12mm. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Lower: DNA LOFT v3 cushioning infused with lightweight nitrogen puts plush, responsive comfort under every stride or step. Segmented Crash pad moves from heel strikes to toe-offs for smooth, distraction-free transitions.

New design is not for the better
I have worn nothing but Ghosts for years. They were the best fitting and most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I don't know what changes you have made to the Ghost 16, but the fit was very different and really tight through the toe box. The fit was nothing like the Ghost 15 and it's predecessors. I am so disappointed. I can't imagine why you would change a shoe that has been so successful for so long.

Reduced price on an older model!
Was looking for a less expensive alternative to the newer Brooks Ghost model, and found this Gore-Tex lined option at Nordstrom Rack. Had a brick and mortar store near my home, so chose to have it delivered there, for an easy return should it not fit. The shoe was true to size, looks and feels food on my feet while wearing in dry 20°F weather with wool socks. Have yet to wear in the rain or step in a puddle, but like other waterproof shoes will consider it just weatherproof, as the tongue of the shoe is a separate piece of material and not gusseted/completely attached all the way to the top of the laces.

Great shoe, Being waterproof is really nice when in the wet grass. These shoes are comfortable and the cushioning is nice.
