Catara Virgin Wool & Cashmere Coat

Beautiful, awesome coat. The only reason I am giving it a '4' rating is that I am petite and lean and it is a trifle big on me. The darts on it make alterations very difficult, if even possible. Nevertheless, I will wearing this coat during the winter and with some thicker gauge sweaters underneath, it will look fantastic!

The coat looks nice and the fit is good. For reference my hips are 35.5 so right at the size measurements for a 2. I can fit a sweater on underneath and still button. You could leave the bottom button undone to give you more room in the hips. It’s slightly too wide in the shoulders for me personally but may accommodate someone with a wider build up top. The first button is lower down so may also leave more room for someone bustier - I’m a 32C. The material is much thinner than my Fleurette coat which is 100% wool. If you’re in a northern state, it most likely won’t keep you warm enough - you’d want to size up for layering. The color is very nice. When I first took it out of the bag I was disappointed by the feel of the material (90%wool 10% cashmere) - has a scratchy feel.
