Too tight and narrow
These were too narrow and tight in the toebox for me. I have narrow feet too. I do like a bit wider toebox for comfort. These bit into my pinkie toes. I usually wear an 8-8.5. These were an 8.5. Due to the toebox being too narrow, I didn't bother ordering a size up. Returned.

I purchased these and three other brands of similar items online, since I live very far away from any Nordstrom store. These boots are extremely well made, super soft inside, and the leather is wonderful. This is the only pair of boots I am keeping and will wear for the next decade. The style is fabulous too. Wanted to love them
I'm so sad to have to return these. I have this same boot from Born from about 8 years ago. This fit is totally different. Very stiff leather and narrow in the heel area, so narrow it was difficult for me to get my foot in even with the zipper all the way down. There's a pleated area above the top buckle that opens when bending my foot, and I don't like the look of it open. But some may actually like that look. I am a true 8 and these were too small. Perhaps an 8.5 would've worked. The brown color is really nice though, and they seem well made, just didn't work for me. The previous version of this shoe is my favorite fit of any shoe I've ever owned, still wearing them.
