Color is not a light blue.
This flower pattern reminds me of Kyoto & Osaka when the lovely cherry blossoms are in bloom! As for the background color of this set: it has more of a blah slightly greenish blue tint to it, or so my wife says, you see I'm color blind. Upon unwrapping, to make sure it had the pillow shams, we noticed the fabric does seem to wrinkle easily. That said...we're keeping it and when we start using it we sure hope everything still looks nice after washing it.
