winter workhorse
I have relied on these boots Oct - January for slightly dressy looks (satin midi skirt, short sweater dress, above knee velvet pencil skirt). No problem with inclement weather- they are waterproof. I agree with other reviewers that the calf area is wide ( on the regular calf size) but it hasn’t bothered me. You could probably tuck pants in if you choose. Zippers are a little stiff at first, but they break in. Boots are comfortable from the beginning. Very happy with this purchase.

Poor Quality Control
I'm not typically a negative review writer, but these boots were disappointing. They were beautiful, so I was excited to get them, -BUT the boots were different heights from each other. It's not my calves either, they're different heights even when standing side by side. These are obviously going back, but I'm sad.

On the Fence
I love the look of these boots the color and heel are perfect and the fact that they are waterproof is a bonus. I am on the fence because they are kind of baggy on the lower portion of the calf. I don’t want them to turn into slouchy boots. I am on the fence about keeping them.
