Blair Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

In general, I like these shoes -- but the pair I just received was worn, with dirty soles. Apparently they were taken from the shoe racks at a Rack store, as the typical sticky labels were still on the inside. There was a note in the shipping box saying shoe boxes are no longer included in orders. Huh? I won't be ordering shoes from the Rack any more then, as this is unacceptable -- I store my shoes in their boxes, as do many/most women! The box protects and organizes the shoes. Sorry if it's too much of a hassle for the Rack to keep shoe boxes, but I consider it part of the purchase.

This is my second pair of Vince Blair, so I knew to size down from 7.5 to 7, and there is still room for an arch insert if you have flat feet and need the support. The snake print is a nice grey/taupe and great for WFH since I'm not going into an office for at lest the rest of the year. I hope these hold up as long as my 4 year-old black perforated pair of these shoes.

This shoe seemed like a cheap, knockoff of the Vince leather slip-on I tried on in my local Nordstrom store. At my local Nordstrom store, they were on sale but missing the mate and their computers said it had already gone to the Rack. So I ordered from the Rack and thought I was getting the same shoe, but not at all. The footbed is a flat slab of what feels like plasticized leather ( "pleather") -- there was no sculpting of the footbed like in the shoe at the Nordstrom store. The exterior felt like neoprene ( despite the description calling it "calfskin" ), not the soft leather on the shoe at the Nordstrom store. I am returning it. It looks like a cheap, counterfeit copy of the real Vince shoe I was looking for -- it is substandard in every way. I do NOT recommend this shoe. I did not even try it on.
