They are ok
There seems to be so much hype behind Birkenstock, so I bought these. They are ok. It seems the strap rubs across my big toe. I really think these are designed for people with an arch and I have flat feet.

Did not pay to see Velcro
I love everything about this Purple Uji slides except for the fact that it has large black noticeable Velcro showing when you adjust the straps. Why not use a like color!! the purple is an unique color purple like very muted. You, do relate it to purple and it’s likable for me because I was deciding between the rust Sienna Red and brown and choose the purple because I get a little of both but the black Velcro made me feel like a didn’t want them even at the amazing sale price. If you purchase your size it’s a normal fit.
