Sydney Slide Sandal (Women)

I bought these in person at Nordstrom Rack while I was there shopping for something else. (You know how that happens!) They were supportive and comfortable right away, and I assume they’ll get better with wear. The strap and buckle style/color are feminine, but the shoe is definitely not too delicate. As other reviewers have said, these did have a sticker on the heel. I rubbed a little baking soda on the adhesive residue, and now it’s not sticking to my heel anymore. It’s a little dark, but the shoes will get darker with so I don’t care much about that. I normally wear a 10 Narrow in US women’s sizing or a 9.5 Medium if a style doesn’t come in Narrow. I wear a 40 in Dansko shoes. These may be just a little long for me, but I think a 40 probably would’ve been too short so I marked them “true to size.” I also marked “slightly narrow” because I find them comfortable, and I do buy narrow sneakers. But the straps have lots of holes for adjustments so I think they’d work unless you have very wide feet.

I received these with price tag stickers stuck directly on the heel portion of the shoe. After removing the stickers in many tiny pieces, I’m left with dark spots that stick to my heels every time I take a step. I would expect this from a no brand product but I’d expect more purchasing a Birkenstock product. Not sure how to remove the “sticky” without damaging the shoe itself. Very disappointed.
