very comfy, size up
I have about a dozen pairs of birks, all size 38. I had to size up to a 39 in these just to be able to slide my foot in. The wide toe box is great. my foot is slighty wide and these fit well.

Not for those with a high instep
I swear by Birkenstocks, and I have mutiple pairs.i could not get this pair on, and I ordered my usual size. I have a high instep. The angle of this boot and the short zipper did not work for me.

Runs Small
Not for someone with high instep or high foot arch. Also runs very small. I am a true size 10, this is more like a size 9. Be very careful of sizing with this boot, the sizing is 'off'.

I love black suede wedge ankle boots and I have had a really hard time finding a pair that fits me well over the last 3 years. These boots are heaven sent, comfort and elegance all in one. I usually wear 9.5-10 but they were too big so I ordered the 9-9.5 and they fit me feet and my skinny ankle perfectly.
