Love These Birks
I love my plaid Birkenstocks. They were just what I wanted. I love the red plaid and they are so comfortable. I got them in a size 41 and they are perfect. Sizes are European. I wear a size 10.

Bummer Birkenstock
I was looking for a supportive slipper. Decided these would be perfect and I love Birkenstock. What a disappointment! Put them on and great comfort right on. Then walking in them I felt these sharp razor like pieces digging into the sides of my foot only to find it was hardened glue along the edges.
I went and read lots of the reviews and sure enough I was not the only one that experienced this and then when I read the shearling didn't last but a few weeks so my decision was made, send them back,
It's really a shame because otherwise the comfort and support is there. I got the stone color which was fine.

Committed fan but why the dye transfer!
I’m a size 9 and I chose a 40 ultimately because the 39 had a shearling lining that was significantly less fluffy. No explanation for this, but the 40 had that comfort factor even though it’s a little too roomy. My biggest problem is that the black shearling on the inside of the red version transfers black dye immediately onto your foot after just an hour of indoor wear during the winter (feet were totally dry). Not sure if this will stop happening, but it can’t be good for my body. Definitely not good for light-colored socks.
