These are not as described
These are not patent leather. The straps aren’t leather at all. They are some kind of plastic product with felt behind it and the buckles are a bright pink color. I will return them.

love but plastic bottom
Never thought my top scar bunion bad feet could wear Birkenstock. But these were so cute , I was determined to make them work! Well I didn’t have to work , perfect straight out of the box and everybody loves the all black. I however agree with other reviewer , disappointed with the plastic sole that will surely wear out faster than the other kind. And for more money what the heck ! But for now I’ll enjoy , I happen to love the rose gold , its not so rosy that I have to change my gold jewelry to match

Not the usual Arizona
I am a huge fan of the Arizona style Birkenstock and own thee pairs, all of which I could wear right out of the box with no issues, but the straps on these are stiff and a bit wider er than the others. The lower strap digs into my toes near the buckle and the upper strap digs into the top of my foot. Sadly, they are going back. I was hopeful because I like the black footbed and gold buckles.

no reason for the price tag
I see no reason for these to be $40 more than the original big buckle Arizona sandals. I thought the all black foot bed looked nicer than the cork and I thought it would be better quality but it’s exactly the same just painted black. Also the buckles are Rose Gold
