Nope not it
This is straight up a glorified robe. The color and fit is what especially makes it appear as a robe. It’s runs extremely large, the light color gives it summer lounging vibes on a cool evening, NOT warm, toasty, comfy inviting like you’d get with a nice, richer warm color. And the wrap style and huge lapels just doesn’t help on this particular coat (robe).

Classic timeless style
After intense search I found black wool coat with classic, sophisticated, timeless style The self-tie belt cinches at the waist or above waist to create a flattering shape. For my plus-size figure, this is a win. The coat is heavy weight to hang in closet but pleasingly comfortable to wear. I am 5'2" so sleeves are long. Easy to turn up one hem for do-it-yourself temporary alteration. At age 75 my dressses are slightly below knee so I want a coat that is mid-calf length. I considered the princess seam Bernardo coat which was elegant but seams did not follow my short torso. Very pleased with my purchase of this tie belt classic coat . Thank you Nordstrom.

I was excited to receive this coat. It is a lovely, classically styled coat. It felt heavy and would be very warm, and I was impressed with the feel of the fabric. I was sure it had cashmere in it. Unfortunately it was way too small for me and I had to return it. Breaks my heart.

Nice, but long and runs large
Im 5'4 and 105lbs but the XS felt big and heavy. Its a nice coat but I felt even the shoulder pads made it look even bigger.
