Cast Iron Red 7 Qt. Covered Stockpot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the perfect size for the two of us. It heats evenly, things aren’t sticking to it and it didn’t need to be preseasoned ! I was especially impressed at how easy it was to clean. The food came off easily /‘d because it isn’t porous it didn’t soak up the red from the soup in the picture. No stains, no sticking. Seriously the quickest cleanup compared to so much of my cookware! I just used a mild soap and a sponge and all the food came right off. Be sure you hand wash this to keep it beautiful. Don’t use anything that would be abrasive for scrubbing (honestly, you won’t need to). Another perk - rhe handles and lid handle didn’t get so hot that I couldn’t touch them. I’ve noticed with some they get so hot you can burn yourself- not this one. I see us using this for things we want to go stovetop to oven. I’m looking forward to making some bread in it too! Perfect for 2 people!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the shape and color— it’s not a solid orange, but an ombré. It’s beautiful. The basting points on the lid are a nice feature, as well as this being good for practically all stove tops and ovens. The enamel finish is far from perfect — there was a defect in the enamel on the rim of the lid where it was coated. Luckily, it’s on the edge but also may also be prone to chipping. This is so easy to clean and maintain because it’s got an enamel coating on the inside. All I needed was some soap and water. I love using cast iron for the even heat and how versatile this is. I love the 5 qt because the sides are high, and I can make soups in this, bake breads, or fry. This is my kind of one pot cookery, from the oven or stove top to the table.
