Pleat Tie Belt Dress

Texas Longhorn fans look no further! The colors are amazing and even looks better in person! I ordered both the extra small and small, not knowing which would fit better. I’m typically a small in most dresses. Note, this dress runs extremely large. The extra small was swimming on me. I will be taking to an alterations shop to reduce the amount of fabric in the middle section of the dress. The dress does come with a matching fabric belt tie, but a camel or medium cognac belt looks so much better! Paired with Steve Madden Havana suede booties in taupe looks fabulous. The arm holes are pretty good and not too much is showing on the sides of the dress. The side slits come up pretty high, but that’s what makes this dress so chic and cool. I wish the neckline had a little bit more of an open V, but it isn’t anything to dissuade buying. Whether you’re a longhorn fan or not, this dress is so perfect for warm fall days… Especially in Texas. I took a star off because of how large this dress runs and will require alterations. But nonetheless, I love this dress.
