Don't let the basic look of this bag fool you. It's got all of the extra features you'd hope for in a backpack, including a laptop sleeve and lots of storage options. I have shoulder/back issues, so prefer to travel with a backpack rather than a tote bag and been searching high and low for a travel-focused one, especially with a luggage pass through because my current one does not have that feature and I’d like extra carrying options , esp when it’s loaded-up and I’ve got long airport terminals to walk through. Anyway this bag had a lot of potential in it’s description. I appreciated all the organizational pockets, the two outer bottle pockets for my water bottle and coffee “mug”. Unfortunately when it arrived, I realized that those pockets are made with leather trim that does not stretch (they are pretty small but still fit) so you can’t really fit your water bottles in it unless you leave space for them to bulge into the main compartment, and I DO need all the space in the main compartment when I travel. Also, that leather trim makes the bag generally look/feel cheap. The canvas, zippers and straps work ok but look basic. As well, I had issues sliding my luggage handle out of the pass through. Because of all these issues, it’s going back. This was my 1st time purchasing this brand and I don’t know if I will reconsider another item from them again.
