Nettie Faux Fur Lined Cold Weather Boot

I purchased these because I was looking for a stylish snow boot and read all the positive reviews. I normally wear a 7.5M or 8M in shoes. The 7.5M were sold out so I purchased the 8M. They fit well leaving a little room to wear thicker socks. They are made of a material that does not remotely resemble leather. The fur trim is not sheepskin but faux fur. I don't know how warm or waterproof they're going to be, as I have not worn them during the winter months yet. The faux fur lines the inside shaft of the boots but not the foot bed as you would expect in an UGG boot. There's enough room in the shaft of the boot for someone with thicker calves or for tucking jeans or sweatpants inside them. They're comfortable to walk in and have a rugged outsole to prevent slipping on ice or snow. I guess we'll put that to the test this winter. Overall it's not a bad looking boot. I don't know if they'll hold up or actually perform as advertised. I'll update this review after I have worn them this winter.
