Denim Midi Shirtdress

Cute dress, fits nicely. Struggling whether to keep it as where the side zipper is the material is off and odd, like it didn't have a zipper and one was added so the material is darker there . . . and it is puffy. I need to press and see if I like it or not. I don't recall if it listed there was a side zipper in this product.

It's true--the dress runs at least a full size too small on top. Probably two sizes too small. I'm an 8 off the rack, sometimes 10 because I'm 'busty' (38E-30-38). So I ordered a 10 and 12. 12 fit well up top, but at size 12, only the top 2 buttons open which isn't ideal. Plus the skirt flared too wide, and the waist seam hit too low--which rarely happens on a busty gal. It's usually the opposite problem. The 10 fit amazing in the shoulders and skirt, but like the "busted can of biscuits" reviewer, the buttons gapped so bad on me, it's a joke. I do love the dress, however, and it's beyond flattering. It's actually sexy, in a fully covered up way. So I'm going to keep the 10 and have my local seamstress sew hook-and-eye closures in between the buttons on the placket, so I can keep myself contained. Yes, it's THAT nice of a dress. Normally, I'd just send it back, but with the button-gaps troubleshot, it's just a slammin' dress. If you have a narrow waist/ribs and a petite bust, you can probably get away with going one size bigger with no alterations. But those of us with shoulders and b**bs are gonna struggle.
