High hopes but crushed dreams
I have a bone to pick with this jacket. I’ve been waiting for this jacket since Anniversary and I bought it online the minute it went on sale. However, the color in the photos looks more like a greyish-taupe, but in person it’s a dusty green. Which is fine but I was obsessed with the color depicted in the photos and it just wasn’t what I was expecting. This jacket was also HUGE on me. I ordered a small and it was way too big. I probably would have fit better in an XXS. Sadly had to return.

lightweight but structured
Boy I had some trouble getting my hands on this trench because it sold out during the first days of the Anni Sale and then miraculously got restocked weeks later. Anyway, I tried it on as soon as I picked it up in store and knew the trouble had been worth it. It’s a lightweight trench with nice structure/shape to it. I especially like the water resistant element as all of my other coats are wool and/or heavy winterized styles. It’s perfect for fall weather and rain! The color is the only thing that dropped the rating to 4 stars. I do like the green grey, but I would’ve loved this had it come in navy or a dark chocolate brown. Other than that - worth it.
