Cersei Satin Midi Dress

I want to start with the positives. The color is gorgeous. The fabric has a nice weight and sheen. It looks luxurious when you open the box and hold it in your hands. The fit is true to size. I am a 4/6 with 34B chest and got a Small and it fits well and the best part is that I would not need to wear a bra at all. The negative for me is the bottom part. The slit is messy. The fabric that looks gorgeous everywhere else looks cheap from beginning of slit to hem. I guess that’s why the model stands like that. I will be standing for the wedding as the mother of the groom and taking pictures. I cannot stand like that to make this dress look good on me the whole time. lol I am also worried people won’t understand the strap that falls to the side. In the back it looks odd and gives you the impression it is not on the correct side. I actually tried to put it on the other side and it would look gorgeous if it was made to be that way with two straps actually. But to be fair the strap falling off to the side was one thing that did appeal to me when I saw it so not complaining. Just not confident enough to pull it off I guess. I am 5’1” and bought this midi dress thinking it would work as a long dress so maybe it just doesn’t work good on my small body and would look better on a taller girl as a midi as it is intended . If you have a tummy like me, I would advise investing on Spanx for this dress as it highlights problem areas.
