Heritage Western Boot (Men)

Out of the box, I was impressed with the high quality leather and the workmanship...the Heritage boots look more expensive than their reasonable price. My suede leather Heritage boots were comfortable on Day One. Most of my other boots are a size 10 with a wide round toe box. Because the Heritage has the narrow R toe, I moved up a half size to a 10.5. Moving up a half size provided a good fit that is snug on the sides of the toes and snug across the top of the instep. Putting the boots on required placing them on the floor and pushing my heels down firmly...a bit of effort. After a few days, the suede leather relaxed across the instep and I was wearing the boots all day. The heels absorb shock on concrete surfaces and the soles provide secure traction even on slick or wet surfaces. The soles shed dirt easily and a quick swipe across the door mat is usually enough to get the soles clean. The boots remain snug along the sides of the toes, but that does not prevent them from being very comfortable on even a 10,000 step day. It has been easy to brush dust and dirt off of the suede. I have not used silicone waterproof spray...I have other boots for rainy days. The boots are comfortable enough for outdoor work and look nice enough to wear in a casual office or for an evening out.
