Montreal Waterproof Knee High Boot (Women)

I have been searching for a good leather boot to replace a pair that was several years old. These had everything I was looking for and more. I pulled them out of the box and knew they wouldn't fit. I regularly measure between 8.5-9 with a wide foot but all my boots I buy as a 9.5M to have room for socks. These were so small, I could barely get them on with the thinnest socks I own. I literally couldn't even start to zip the main side zip. They are excellent quality and worth the money but had to go back. Disappointing because they are gorgeous. If you have narrow feet and average calves, I'd still recommend!

I was worried that it would be too wide on my calf because I saw one review said it's too wide for her 13" calf(my calf is 13" as well). When I tried the boots on, I was very surprised! Yes the calf part is a little bit wide, but it's not bad at all. The slightly wide calf makes it very comfortable. Also the shoe part fits me perfectly. I ordered half a size up based on other reviews, and it fits like gloves. I like this pair of boots better than the over the knee one because it's not super feminine, which means I can pair it up with everything.

Every thing was as expected except the very wide around my knees. They are so wide. In addition, the lining was fabric, as noted by another reviewer, and it will not keep my legs warm. I had to return them. I also bought a half size bigger based on the reviews and yes I you will need a half size larger.
