I needed a shoe for a wedding that is dressy but comfortable. After trying many different styles, this is the pair I liked the most for the combination of style and comfort. The block heel is stable, the cushioned insole is comfortable, and the leather upper doesn't irritate my foot. However, it has a couple of drawbacks. The cut edge of the leather is a bit sloppy. Not noticeable from a distance, but easily seen up close. They also run quite short. I wear and 8 in sandals, 8.5 in closed toe shoes, and a 39 euro size. The 39 in this shoe was too short, with the tip of my big toe slightly over the front edge. I had to exchange them for a 40.
