Off the rack fit

Very happy with this one. Didn't really need to tailor at all with the exception of a slight adjustment to the pant length. And a correction on the review stating this suit is 100% synthetic. That is not accurate. I just checked the tag. It's 50% wool and 50% polyester. For this price, I am willing to accept 50% wool. 100% wool suits are typically three times (or more) this cost. Suit does not look cheap as I have it hanging up next to two other jackets in my closet that are 100% wool. Could have fooled me. Very good value in this suit when you don't have $600 plus to drop on a suit.

Disappointing

I was specifically looking for a classic/traditional cut suit, but this definitely isn’t it. My husband has several 46R sport coats & suits coats that fit him perfectly. This coat was much too tight. I’m guessing it’s really a trim/slim cut even though it’s listed as traditional. With that said, the pants were slightly big but would work for him. This suit was marked at a regular price of $700. The coat was not even fully lined. The entire suit was so disappointing I had to return it.

Returned Suit

The suit is 100% synthetic material. Next to a wool suit it looks cheap. I returned it!

Good sued for Death, eating crackers

Quality product

Alton Lane Notch Lapel Suit so far to me is a quailty suit at an affordable price. It's worth the price paid. Nice looking suit, it is. According to the Nordstrom taylor, "the suit fitted me as though it was taylor for me". The pants needed a small adjustment in the waist and expected adjustments to the length of the pant was needed based on my height.

Pants too big

Jacket fit well but the pants were 36 in waist ( I ordered 34). Not sure if that’s a glitch on the Nordstrom website that you can’t order the pants to fit, or the mistake was made in the warehouse. Return process was easy.
