As someone with a straight figure (thick waist), long legs and with a very short torso, this style is great. It hits me right at my waist. Being in my 50’s, I try to stay away from any clothing that accentuates my not-so-svelte parts, but also doesn’t make me look like I’m trying too hard to look younger than I am. This jacket is just right. The criticism that I have is that, even at more than 50% off, the quality and construction is quite inconsistent. That really bothers me on an item that is originally priced at $500! My normal size is 8, but the 10 fit me a bit looser and just looked better as it hangs away from my body a bit, but zips easily over my 34 D bust. Usually shoulders are too wide for me in a 10, but this fits me fine. The style looks good with a smidgin of shoulder slouch. Suggest sizing up one size for ease. I wish the quality was higher, but I’m willing to settle for such a perfect style. It’s unlikely I could have one custom made for less than the current sale price.
