Whistler Waterproof Hiker Boot (Men)

My five stars is strictly for the boots. Read at the end about how Nordstrom handled them. These boots are wonderful. The chromexcel leather feels incredible. The fit is excellent, when I slid my foot in for the first time it gave that phoomp sound of the heal locking into place holding my foot where it needed to be without compression from other areas of the boot. Now for the bad. Although, no fault to Allen Edmonds, my boots arrived dented in several places because Nordstrom, in its great wisdom from being a quality shoe retailer for decades and early innovator in online shoe sales, decided to mail heavy leather boots to me in a simple plastic bag without a shoebox. So the boots rattled around for a couple thousand miles and acquired several dents.
