Almost missed ‘em…
Like a hunter waiting for a prize elk…I waited till these shoes went on sale and then pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did! The boots fit true to size and feel great on my feet. The shearling lining is warm and creates the right about of cushion around my foot without smothering it. The leather looks GREAT and has an awesome feel. Last but not least, the combination leather and rubber heel is wonderful for winter wear. Another home run from AE!

Zipper was Stuck
The zipper on the boots I had purchased would not zip up or down easily on both boots. It was a hard struggle. I was sure I would break the zipper or be unable to get the boots on and off. I returned the boot. I like the look, but I'm disappointed in the quality.

Terrible sizing. Good enough quality
Ordered two pairs in my dress shoe sizes as recommended. Ankles were suffocated in both sizes. Could barely zip them up. lengthwise almost a size too long. It’s a shame. They’re great looking boots.

Comfortable right out of the box, warm but not too hot for all day outside in cold weather. Too warm for indoors wear however. I gave the 4 stars because the grip in icy conditions leaves a little to be desired. The finger loop on the back could be a little larger.
