The shoe itself cannot be put on without a shoe horn or something to help slip your foot into the shoe. What's worse is that the material inside piles the more you wear the show, meaning that you get a bunch of tiny balls of fabric just stuck all around the inside of the shoe because of the inside material. The shoe laces are difficult to tie because the shoe is SO stiff and fatter than the laces can handle. I've had to tie a knot in my laces as the only way to keep them tied. The shoe itself is really nice, comfy, and feel durable, but the cons stopped me from purchasing another pair. I've been wearing them for a few months regularly, and i still need a shoe horn to put them on. 3/5

I bought this because I need a shoe for wet cold weather in Europe. It still needs to be tested. I'm hoping the higher top will keep my feet warmer. Perhaps I may have given it 4 stars because in wet weather, it'll need more traction and extra traction is needed when you hike or if there is snow or ice. However, this is a comfy shoe and I've released the 1st row or laces so I can make this shoe easier to slip on and off. Wish they had more colors and traction. The athletic trail running version has better traction, but is not as warm or as water proof. All bird needs to make a hiking version.
