  • The SweetFoam™ midsole is made with sugarcane-based EVA, a carbon-negative alternative to EVA foam derived from petroleum. The sugarcane is sourced from southern Brazil, where it relies on rainwater, not irrigation. It’s sourced according to rigorous standards jointly developed by Proforest and Braskem, and the farms are audited by a third party. AllBirds is allowing its Carbon Footprint tools to be open source rather than proprietary, so it can make a difference in the shoe industry as a whole

Cute, comfortable, supportive
I love my wool Piper Gos. Enough support and cushion to be super comfortable all day. I prefer having laces so I can adjust the fit depending on whether I want to wear socks. And so cute!

Looks great, very uncomfortable.
Shoes look great but they are terribly uncomfortable. I own at least 10 pairs of Allbirds in various styles and this one is unbearable to wear. My feet are typically adaptable to any shoe style, but I'm likely going to rehome these. I love the brand and will stick with the styles I know work for me.

Disappointing Allbird’s experience
I was excited to get these new Wool Pipers to replace the Wool Runners I’d had for years. Unfortunately, these were not anyting like them. Very stiff and uncomfortable, especially across the laces. I’ve been so pleased with my Allbirds in the past so I bought these on sale, with no option to return them. I’m looking for a new alternative to Allbirds as a result.

Very narrow
I loved the original Allbirds because they were great for wide feet. This version is incredibly narrow, but also I walk out of them, because they are too long. Overall, really uncomfortable.

Cute and SO Comfortable
In my search for some walking shoes that look less like athletic shoes, I came across these and absolutely love them. They are as comfortable as my running shoes yet look stylish.
