Willa Bishop Sleeve Velour Dress

I got the burgundy dress and I thought it was a beautiful color and fit me well. I got a lot of compliments, I think it's very flattering. I ordered my typical size 6 and it fit really well for the most part. The buttons on the wrists were kind of tight, but not a big problem. And I did wish the neckline was a little higher, just my personal preference.

I’m a 40” bust but small chested and 33” waist, 184ish lbs and 5’6. I ordered a 14 and it fit perfectly at the waist and hip but because I am smaller chested it was like having a giant pouch in the boob area. better for someone bigger chested. the neckline also sits very low and when I stood with my shoulders back, the excess fabric created a fabric hunch on my back which was very unflattering. The fabric dye also transfers very very easily and due to the fabric type it’s very staticy. Gorgeous on the right figure and in the photos but unfortunately I need to return :(

This is a beautiful dress! I love the sleeves, and the buttons on the cuff are a nice detail! The scalloping, the bow, the neckline, the fit, all just perfect. Almost felt like a Victorian era style, which I was happy to lean into with my shoes, accessories and whispy up do. Received so many compliments in this look. A few things to be aware of, the neckline didn't work with any of my bras, it was wide and low enough that the tops of my bras showed (be warned fellow busty friends). Also, keep in mind that this dress is warm and definitely a cold weather option. And I'm 5'5" ~190lbs, a 14 usually fits well, perhaps a bit loose in some clothes, but this was tight in the chest/ribcage area so consider sizing up one size.
